Description
The taste of the Single Origin Guatemala by Danesi Caffé is intense and has notes of cane sugar, caramel and chocolate. A great, sweet combination of flavors. The body is very harmonious and balanced. The texture is velvety. The beans have a convincing, sweet taste and a chocolaty scent that makes you crave a second serving.
The beans were grown on fertile, volcanic soil in Guatemala at an altitude of 1300-1450 meters. They are of the Arabica variety Arabica Red Bourbon. The beans were picked by hand, washed and then dried under the sun and in the solar dryer.

Coffee beans originating from Guatemala are some of the best worldwide, thanks to the specific topographic and climatic conditions of the country. Here, several years ago Danesi has started a direct relation with the small producers of some rural mountain communities where we buy coffee produced by them. Their aim is to contribute to the economic development of these communities and at the same time to ensure that their high-quality coffee could reach international markets.
On the slopes of volcanoes, on the shores of Guatemala’s lakes or on the peaks of its mountains, at altitudes between 1200 and 1600 m, grow some of the most prized cherries in the world. The topography of the territory and the cold and humid climate are optimal conditions for a quality coffee. Here the cultivation of the Caturra variety prevails, with well-balanced sweetness and acidity, partly inherited from the Bourbon variety.
